New Patients

We’re Glad You’re Here

A warm welcome, a thorough exam, an honest conversation about what we find, and a cleaning the same day when your oral health allows. That is what your first visit at Redmond Way Dentistry looks like.

Your First Appointment, Step by Step

1

A Friendly Welcome

You will be greeted, given a quick tour if it is your first time, and shown to your room. Most new patient visits run 60 to 90 minutes.

2

Comprehensive Exam

A tooth-by-tooth check, gum measurements, oral cancer screening, and a bite evaluation, with digital X-rays and photos so you can see what we see.

3

Same-Day Cleaning When Possible

When your oral health allows, your cleaning happens the same visit. If you need a deeper cleaning, we explain why and schedule the right kind.

4

Leave With A Clear Plan

You hear what we found in plain language, with no pitch and no jargon. You leave with a written cost estimate and any follow-up already booked.

New Patient Welcome Email & Patient Forms

Once your first appointment is on the books, you'll get a welcome email from us with a link to set up your patient portal login. Your new patient paperwork lives there, so you can fill it out at home instead of on a clipboard in our reception area.

Try to finish the forms shortly after you schedule. It gives our team time to verify your dental benefits ahead of time, so your first visit starts on schedule rather than at the front desk.

How Early to Arrive

Plan on showing up about 10 minutes before your appointment time. That gives us a chance to:

  • Introduce you to the front-desk team and get you checked in
  • Scan your photo ID and insurance card
  • Let you get comfortable in the reception area instead of walking straight into the chair

What to Bring to Your First Appointment

  • A photo ID and your dental insurance card, if you have coverage
  • HSA and FSA cards and CareCredit are all welcome for any copay due at the visit
  • If you have them handy, a list of your current medications and any recent dental records or X-rays from a previous office

Parking Information

We're in suite 106 of the QFC and Ben Franklin shopping center on Redmond Way, directly across the lot from Trader Joe's. Parking is free, plentiful, and steps from our door, with spaces close to the entrance generally available.

If You Haven’t Been in a While

Many of our patients haven’t seen a dentist in years before their first visit with us. The reasons vary: a difficult experience in the past, a move, a long stretch of putting it off, or just not having found the right office. You are welcome here without judgment. Your first visit back is a comfortable exam, a clear conversation about what we find, and a plan built at a pace you are comfortable with. Oral sedation is available if you would like extra support.

Get Your Exam and Cleaning Done in One Visit

We hold time in our schedule specifically for new patients. When your oral health allows, your comprehensive exam and your cleaning are completed during the same visit. One trip to Redmond, full picture of where you stand, clean teeth on the way out.

Moved to Redmond last year and chose Redmond Way Dentistry because everyone in my family had a great experience! It’s a very professional and well-run practice. I went there for cleanings and x-rays and had a very good experience with Dr. Prasanna and staff. Highly recommend.

This last time I had an emergency situation with a very painful inflamed gum. Dr. Lan and Mya were so wonderful and made me feel at ease. I was able to get in that same day.

I have been coming to Redmond Way Dentistry for over ten years. I have been happy that the staff are friendly and caring. Dr. Prasanna is a great listener and makes sure that I am happy with the result of any dental work. I was impressed with the way she dealt with the lab for my crown when I had concerns.

Stephanie T.

The best experience I have ever had at a dental office. Every single staff member was knowledgeable, kind and super helpful! My whole family will be going to Redmond Way Dentistry!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Mei and her team at Redmond Way Dentistry. She saw me during an incredibly busy day and took the time to treat a very painful abscess, which brought me huge relief. I’m truly grateful for her care and kindness.

Danny G.

First time customer at Redmond Way Dentistry and the service was great. I scheduled an appointment the day prior and they were very flexible with my schedule. I went in for a tooth extraction and the process was painless and very fast.
